The 250 leads off the VStar line with style. A very nice looking motorcycle. This is a great motorcycle for beginners, but like with any other machines in this class, you may outgrow it quickly. At a wet weight of 324 pounds, you are going to get blown around on the highway, once again this is a problem for all bikes in this class. And you are not going to be tooling down an interstate at 80. But you will get there with spare change in your pocket, as this motorcycle delivers about 78 mpg according to Star’s spec sheet. If you are commuting around town and don’t want to have to horse around a bigger cycle, this one may be just for you. And, with a price of 3990 for the 2010 model, it will fit just about any budget.
